KAPA Blood DNA Polymerase是通过基因工程改造过的二代Taq酶，也是第一款专门为全血DNA扩增而改造的DNA聚合酶。这个酶的产品有两种试剂盒，Blood Mix A和Blood Mix B。这两种Mix是2x PCR mixes，含有扩增所需要的各种成分，使用时只需加入血液（血痕）、引物和水就可以。

   利用Blood PCR Kits可以直接从1 - 20% (v/v) 全血中直接扩增DNA片段，不需要对血液进行任何预处理或者提取。这样既节约了成本和时间，也大大降低了样本污染的几率。
